This short essay by Gordon Nickel reviews and discusses the Qurʾānic material on Jesus and describe some of the Muslim understandings of the Jesus verses in the Islamic interpretive tradition. Those understandings are then be brought up to the present in the areas of modern commentary, interfaith dialogue, and polemic.
